sure, but we have to be realistic: logs are already overwhelmed with the number of things they have to do. If they have to add extensive supplier selection processes, we will need more log staff in the field (and maybe in cells / HQ)
in order to avoid being overwhelmed, it is important to concentrate to the 5 to 10 items in NFI, and in Medical orders that constitute 80 to 90% of the purchased items footprint.
In the title, you wrote also the social part. Of course it will take time and ressources, but we should work on this, include both social and environmental criteria. Work on this, and assess the challenges can be a very good first step.
