This initial assessment allows to document OCP practices, and initiatives, both at the headquarters and field levels, that have a positive or negative impact on the environment. It is the synthesis of the work made by thematic working groups as well as interviews. It aims at inspiring ideas for anyone who would like to contribute to proposals of the roadmap, in Phase 2.

The documents, completed by a picture of the footprint hypothesis allow to understand the level of commitment of the organization, understand its strategic development for the next 10 years, identify the obstacles and challenges ahead of potential solutions in order to be able to provide appropriate responses.

What will we be measuring concerning the Carbon footprint?

How is the carbon footprint is supposed to look like?

This estimate has been calculated by the Climate Action Accelerator (CAA) on the basis of OCP partial measurement and financial data. It provides an estimate of the main sources of our carbon footprint. OCP is working on the calculation of its precise global carbon footprint in tonnes of CO2, and will release this later in the process. The underneath figure is an informed hypothesis.
