Advocate developers, manufacturers and suppliers to include reducing carbon footprint in their product-future and present

We should advocate to our suppliers, pharmaceutical and laboratory suppliers to work on products that have a lower carbon footprint. Example Xpert cartridges - these are made of plastic and need to be destroyed. We should discuss with the manufacturers as well as researchers and developers of similar and future technologies to find new formats to perform these tests that are more respectful to the environment and include in WHO "target product profiles" that guide future development.
