Adding a life-span to e-mails before sending them

It would be appropriate if, when sending an e-mail, the user was obliged to give it a "life expectancy". Some mails contain information that does not need to be saved indefinitely. Other mails containing important information could, at the user's choice, be kept indefinitely or until manually deleted.
